Installation (all-in-one version):
- Create a local directory on your PC into your
HOME directory:
$ mkdir myworkplace
- Download the NS-2-all-in-one/RTSim/ROOT tar ball.
- go to myworkplace and install NS-2:
$ tar zxvf rtns0.1_<platform>.tar.gz
$ cd ns-allinone-2.29
$ ./install [in Linux you should have root priviledges]
$ ./validate [optional 'cos it takes time]
[In case you get errors during installation, check whether you have the necessary libraries installed.
You can check this in the installation verbose on the console; at the point where the installation failed].
- Source the environment:
$ cd ../../
$ . setup.sh
- Validate the installation following the steps described in the
tutorial.
